Thanksgiving Corn

Good morning to all!

For todays card I used all Stampin' Up supplies except the buttons.  The corn stamp and die are way fun to play with.  I colored the stamp with markers then cut with the die.

I better stamp today as I am running out of things to post.  from Martha

So Grateful

Good evening everyone!

Beautiful autumn day today.  Although I must say that it was a little chilly at the football game at 8 this morning....

Today's card is made with stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink.  The papers are from Prima Marketing.  Ink is from Stampin' Up.  I cut the leaves from text print papers from Prima to give them a little extra texture.

Good night!  from Martha

Taylored Expressions Last Card Standing

Hello everyone!

I made this card for the Taylored Expressions Last Card Standing contest.  I used a cute set from TE with bugs and flower and matching dies.  The jar stamp is from Stampin' Up.  The patterned paper is from My Minds Eye.

I used same set and paper pack and came up with this second example.

Have a great evening, and wish me luck in the contest.  from Martha

TELASTCARD

Hi everyone!  I entered these two cards in the Taylored Expressions Last Card Standing competition.  Check out the competition on the Splitcoast gallery.

I used stickers from Martha Stewart that were leftovers from last year.  The shelf and jar stamps are for TE.  EEK is from Papertrey ink.  I like the funky colors--not your traditional Halloween color scheme.

Here I used TE witch and sentiment stamps and again, leftover Martha Stewart stickers.  The bats were made with a punch, and the background paper is from Echo Park.
Time to watch Vikings......
Have a great afternoon.  from Martha

Gratitude

Hello to all!

To make this card, I used a die from Stampin' Up to make a template for the sponged area.  I sponged with Distress ink from Tim Holtz, then stamped with stamps from Stampin' Up.  Matted the image and background and added a ribbon.  This was super easy and really turned out to be pretty.

7 Gypsies Tags

Hello to all!

For todays cards, I started with a premade tag from 7 Gypsies.  These have been in my stash for a while and were just begging to be used.  I punched the lacy circle and the green circle, then put a premade bird from Prima on the focal piece.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up.  And just for the record, Grace does NOT like the foam arrow from American Crafts!  (at least not on this project....).  But I do.

Here is basically the same layout.  Again started with a tag from 7 Gypsies.  The witches shoe is a die from Quickutz.  The sentiments are from Stampin' Up.  That denim ribbon is also Stampin' Up.  Added lace and button to this one.  The colors are kind of unusual for Halloween, but I think it works.

Hello Sunshine

 Hi everyone!

As promised, I have more of this sunflower stamp from Papertrey Ink.  The coordinating die really makes this fun to do.  Cut the die first, then stamp and color.

And another!

You're the Best

Hello to everyone!

For the next few days I am going to show you some fall cards I made with my new sunflower set from Papertrey Ink.  I really like this one, so you'll be seeing it for a while.

On this card, I stamped with Memento Ink and colored with Copic markers.  I then cut out the image with a die from My Favorite Things.  I trimmed down an ugly yellow doily I found in the dollar bin at Michael's.  It went well with the icky colors I used on the flowers........

Here I cut out the coordinating die first, then stamped the stamp and colored.  I used a more muted color palette and I like the way in turned out.  The sentiment stamp is also from Papertrey Ink.  The background paper is from American Crafts.

Enjoy your day!  from Martha

Autumn Cards

Hello to all!

We had a nice cool day here so I thought I would post some autumn themed cards.  I made the shaded background on this card by sponging ink on a template I made with a Stampin Up die.  Then I stamped the leaves (from Rubber Stamp Tapestry) with various inks around the edge of the shaded area.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.  I added a little accent by punching holes around the edge of the shaded area.  The background paper  is from ? can't remember.....

This card uses the same technique with stamps from Stampin' Up.

Enjoy your evening.  from Martha

Good evening everyone!  I found the idea for this card at  Stamping Ala Mode .  All the supplies for this one are from Stampin' Up.

I made another with a different image from the same stamp set and different papers.  Papers are from Webster's Pages and Pink Paisley.  This was a really fun layout to try.

And one last one with Stampin' Up stamps!

Have a great evening.

Apples

Hello to everyone.  Today's post uses my new apple stamp set from WPlus9.  I took a few hints from the WPlus9 design team and came up with these cards.  Lots of fun

On this card I used squares of paper from the Dear Lizzy collection from American Crafts.  I zigzag stitched over the edges with red thread.  The oval piece is made with dies from Papertrey Ink.  The pearls, ribbon and little clip that says "true" are from my stash.

Here I used a premade calandar piece from Jenny Bolin.  The background text paper and checker stamp are from Papertrey Ink.  Ribbon is from Stampin' Up.  I made the little tag by punching the edge of white cardstock with a border punch from Stampin' Up, then trimmed it down.

On this example I used a piece of white netting stuff from my stash.  I think the red paper is from Lilly Bee Designs.  I trimmed the yellow piece with a pinking shears.  Added a strip of glitter paper, red twine, and yellow buttons.

Have a great evening everyone!  from Martha
