Papertrey Ink Bloghop Challenge

Good Evening to everyone.  This is my entry into the Papertrey Ink Bloghop challenge.  The background is a piece of grid paper from Doodlebug Designs.  The turquoise handwriting is a clear printed overlay from Hambly Studios.  I used Simply Jane stamp set and dies from Papertrey Ink.  Also some yellow seam binding.

I used barely banana ink from Stampin' Up to stamp the flowers near the sentiment.

Here is a detail shot of the cameo.  I made the necklace with adhesive pearls and stuck on a ribbon rose.

Another example with the same stamp set.  Paper is from Hambly studio.

This one uses Papertrey dies to make a file folder shape.  Stamps are from Birthday Tags 2012.  Paper is from Cosmo Cricket.  I'm not sure on the tape and clips.
Morning everyone.  I made today's card with my Papertrey Ink set called Daydreamer.  Papers are from Fancy Pants designs and My Minds Eye.  Edge punch is from Martha Stewart.  I made the bow by taping small pieces of ribbon into the appropriate shape with glue dots.  There is a little bit of liquid pearls on the flowers.  Ink is from Papertrey Ink.

On this card I used the same color palette and used up the leftover scraps from card one.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up and I used adhesive pearls on the flowers.

Have a great day.  from Martha

More Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge

OK. I made some more cards with these graduated backgrounds.  Made the backgrounds with Copic markers.  Stamps on this one are from Daydreamer and Autumn berries.

Here's a close-up of the pearls I put on my branch.  Branch die is also from Papertrey Ink.

I put some rainbow ribbon to match on this card.  Used Copics for background and put rhinestones on the ice cream.  Try this background, its fun..

Papertrey Make It Monday Graduated Backgrounds

Check out this awesome background technique on Nichole's blog over at Papertrey Ink.  It is seriously fun.  Here is my take....

I used the Papertrey strawberry set and Palette ink pads.  My background is made with copics and a piece of scrap paper with a slight pattern to it, which added some interesting texture.  Embellished with a piece of lace, crochet thread and a sequin.  See.....

Of course, I had to make some spare strawberries and made them into this.

See my other sequin.......

Lovely Weather

Okay, lets throw in one last winter card.  I think the stamps are from Artistic Outpost, but I'm not sure.  Used a scrap blue frame shape that had been cut with Spellbinders.  Then I spritzed with glimmer mist after distressing with Tim Holtz ink.  I put punched snowflake pieces in the corners.  Have a great day.  from Martha

Live Outloud

Hello everyone.  I had those purple scraps with holes punched out of them on my desk, so I made this.  Doesn't actually have any stamping on it.
Goodbye for now.  from Martha

Thankful

Good morning people.  This is a simple card made with stamps from Magenta and Avocado Arts.  Colored the  image with Copic markers.

I used orange microbeads and scortape to make the orange stripes, which I am attempting to show in this close-up.

Owls

Good evening.  Today I have a set of cards I made with an owl stamp from Avocado Arts.  On this one I made the circle with a white pen and a template I have that maps out that circle.  Used small heart punches for corners with adhesive rhinestones on them.

On this one the umbrella, words and drops are from the same set with the owl.  I colored in some of the drops with a white pen, added some twine.

Last one.

Have a good evening.  from Martha

Sending Prayers

Good Afternoon to all.  Todays card is another one using Gelatos to color the flower stamp.  I am not sure on the stamp manufacturer.  I applied the Gelatos to the stamp then rested it on a very damp cloth to moisten it.  After stamping I used a blender pen to blend in the clumps.  The background paper is from Prima Marketing.  I spritzed Glimmer Mist in Wheat Beer on the card and background paper.  I also spritzed the Glimmer Mist on the seam binding to give it a weathered look.  Sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink.

Gelato butterflies

Good Evening!  I made this card with my new butterfly set from Papertrey Ink.  I used Gelatos to apply pigment to the stamp.  Instead of spritzing, I just lightly rested the covered stamp on a very wet cloth to moisten it.  I like the way it stamped--gave a sort of marbled watercolor effect.  I used just one color on the wings.  Might be cool to try multiple colors on the wings.  The die cut vine is from Cheery Lynn.  Here is a closer shot......

For this one I cut the butterfly with a Spellbinder circle.  I used the negative from the branch die cut and put green paper behind....

Beautiful You

Hi Everyone.  I made this card with my Unity Stamps little set from the weekly club.  Papers are from Basic Grey and Stampin' Up.  I sponged Tim Holtz Distress inks on the text paper.  I colored the butterflies with colored pencils.  Added twine and adhesive pearls.

This one ended up with a different look even though I started with the exact same focal panel.  Papers are from Basic Grey.

Have a great afternoon.  from Martha
