Joy

Hello everyone!

Today I have a simple card to share.  The Kraft background piece was a scrap that had the oval cut out and used for another project.  The sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink.  The dies are from Stampin' Up.

Holiday Greetings

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Today's card looks fancy, but was easy and fun to make.  The bird is background paper from My Minds Eye.  I punched snowflakes from turquoise cardstock and mounted them on little pieces of lace.  The sentiment is a stamp from Papertrey Ink.  Wrapped twine around the whole thing.

Peace and Joy

Hello to all!  December is here.  I spent the afternoon putting Christmas lights up outside.

Today's Christmas card is made with Stampin' Up background paper and punch.  Stamps are from Papertrey Ink as is the matching die.  The scalloped circle punch I think is Martha Stewart.

Have a great evening.  from Martha

Warm Winter Blessings

Hi to everyone!

I saw a card like this posted by Ashley Cannon Newell of the Papertrey Ink design team.  Stamps and dies are all from PTI.  I added a little plastic heart from American Crafts to the center of my flake.  I liked it so much that I made this one......

Good evening everyone!

I sat one afternoon and stamped a whole bunch of Christmas greetings from Papertrey Ink.  Then I cut them all out in different shapes with dies.  I came back another day and was able to whip up a whole bunch of cards way fast.  Plus, it was fun!

This one uses the Christmas cabin from Stampin and up and paper also from stampin up.

You will be seeing lots more of my "premade" Christmas sentiments this week.

Happiest of Holidays.

Good evening everyone!

We had a light snow tonight which kind of put me in the mood for Christmas cards.

I love this pinecone branch from Papertrey Ink.  The words are also from PTI.  I also used some Spellbinders dies.  The red piece is a hunk of velvet ribbon.  Lace and twine and done.

Poinsettia

Hi everyone!

I made this card with a poinsettia die from a company I think is called Poppy.  I inked the edges with red ink to make the individual petals stand out a little.  The stamp is from PTI.  I added a little lace and adhesive pearls.  Ovals are cut with Spellbinders.

This one is the same with just a little switch up on the colors.  Used twine instead of pearls.

Heaven and Nature Sing

Good evening everyone!

Today's card is a  little Christmas card I made with new bird and sentiment stamps.  I can't remember the brand name and I left the stamps at my friend's house....  The background paper is from Basic Grey.  I colored the image with Copic markers and blended the blue background with Distress inks from Tim Holtz.  I like the look achieved when I cut the words apart and mount each word on its own seperate panel.  There is a little stickles on the branch.

Sweet Life

Good evening to everyone!

Today I have another card made with my Paper Made Bakery kit.  Colored the image with Copic markers and just kind of slapped this one together.

On this one I added a little heart lace and brads in the middle of the flowers.

Bee your best......

Hello to all!

I made today's cards with a monthly kit called Paper Made Bakery.  The papers and stamps all came in the kit.  I used Spellbinders dies to cut the scalloped circle.  Colored the image with Copics.

For this one I stamped the background paper and stuck together some scraps.

Have a great evening.

Good Morning!

I had fun coloring these mouse images from My Favorite Things.  I used a muted color palette and added green accents.  I like the sewing machine stitching around the edge of the panels.  Kind of  hard to see on the photo.....

Pretty Little Mouse

Good evening everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.  Busy.

I love this little mouse stamp from My Favorite Things.  I colored it with Copic markers.  The fancy oval frame is a new Spellbinders die (new to me that is, I don't think it is from the newest release).  The papers were from a monthly kit I receive called Paper Made Bakery.  Thats the name of the kit club, not the brand of the paper.  They send a 6 x 6 coordinating paper pad with each monthly kit.

Anyway,  have a good one.  from Martha

Special Boo

Happy World Cardmaking Day to everyone!

Todays card is made with supplies from My Favorite Things.  I love the triple frame die.  The heart lace is from Grace's stash.

Since it is World Cardmaking Day, I thought I better post this bookmark.  Flower stamps are from Papertrey Ink.  Another fun use for the MFT triple frame die.

Best Witches

Good afternoon to all!

I colored up some of these cute witch images from My Favorite Things while waiting for my son to finish football practice.  Its kind of fun to have the images precolored so I can just sit and assemble the cards.  You will be seeing more of her in the next few days.

Large spider web is a die from Papertrey Ink.  The web border is a punch from Martha Stewart.  Background paper is from Echo Park.

Autumn Thank You

Good Evening everyone!

Finally I am back with a card.  Made this with stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink.  I found that blue wide ribbon in my stash.  The heart shaped wooden button came with my kit from Taylored Expressions, as did the patterned paper.

Hope you have a great evening.  from Martha

Thanks

Hello everyone!

We enjoyed a couple inches of snow this morning.....

But I'm not ready to move to Christmas cards yet.  I made this one with a Papertrey Ink die, paper scraps, ribbon and a mini stapler.  Those wooden painted buttons were in my Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients kit this month.

Have a great evening.  Off to freezing cold football game this evening.  Go Bruins.  from Martha

Halloween Pumpkins

Hello to all!

Today I have a sunny fall card.  I had fun working with my new pumpkin set from My Favorite Things.  The sun was a sticker.  (or one half of a sticker!)  Used fall colors and added a little pale turquoise for some pizzazz.

Have a great day.  from Martha

Thanksgiving Corn

Good morning to all!

For todays card I used all Stampin' Up supplies except the buttons.  The corn stamp and die are way fun to play with.  I colored the stamp with markers then cut with the die.

I better stamp today as I am running out of things to post.  from Martha

So Grateful

Good evening everyone!

Beautiful autumn day today.  Although I must say that it was a little chilly at the football game at 8 this morning....

Today's card is made with stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink.  The papers are from Prima Marketing.  Ink is from Stampin' Up.  I cut the leaves from text print papers from Prima to give them a little extra texture.

Taylored Expressions Last Card Standing

Hello everyone!

I made this card for the Taylored Expressions Last Card Standing contest.  I used a cute set from TE with bugs and flower and matching dies.  The jar stamp is from Stampin' Up.  The patterned paper is from My Minds Eye.

I used same set and paper pack and came up with this second example.

Have a great evening, and wish me luck in the contest.  from Martha

TELASTCARD

Hi everyone!  I entered these two cards in the Taylored Expressions Last Card Standing competition.  Check out the competition on the Splitcoast gallery.

I used stickers from Martha Stewart that were leftovers from last year.  The shelf and jar stamps are for TE.  EEK is from Papertrey ink.  I like the funky colors--not your traditional Halloween color scheme.

Here I used TE witch and sentiment stamps and again, leftover Martha Stewart stickers.  The bats were made with a punch, and the background paper is from Echo Park.
Time to watch Vikings......

Gratitude

Hello to all!

To make this card, I used a die from Stampin' Up to make a template for the sponged area.  I sponged with Distress ink from Tim Holtz, then stamped with stamps from Stampin' Up.  Matted the image and background and added a ribbon.  This was super easy and really turned out to be pretty.

7 Gypsies Tags

Hello to all!

For todays cards, I started with a premade tag from 7 Gypsies.  These have been in my stash for a while and were just begging to be used.  I punched the lacy circle and the green circle, then put a premade bird from Prima on the focal piece.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up.  And just for the record, Grace does NOT like the foam arrow from American Crafts!  (at least not on this project....).  But I do.

Here is basically the same layout.  Again started with a tag from 7 Gypsies.  The witches shoe is a die from Quickutz.  The sentiments are from Stampin' Up.  That denim ribbon is also Stampin' Up.  Added lace and button to this one.  The colors are kind of unusual for Halloween, but I think it works.

As promised, I have more of this sunflower stamp from Papertrey Ink.  The coordinating die really makes this fun to do.  Cut the die first, then stamp and color.

And another!

You're the Best

Hello to everyone!

For the next few days I am going to show you some fall cards I made with my new sunflower set from Papertrey Ink.  I really like this one, so you'll be seeing it for a while.

On this card, I stamped with Memento Ink and colored with Copic markers.  I then cut out the image with a die from My Favorite Things.  I trimmed down an ugly yellow doily I found in the dollar bin at Michael's.  It went well with the icky colors I used on the flowers........

Here I cut out the coordinating die first, then stamped the stamp and colored.  I used a more muted color palette and I like the way in turned out.  The sentiment stamp is also from Papertrey Ink.  The background paper is from American Crafts.

Enjoy your day!  from Martha
