Sweet Baby

Hello blog people!

Today's card is made with stamps from Stampin' Up and The Angel Company.  Dies are from Papertrey Ink and Spellbinders.  I think I use Spellbinders on almost every card.....  Background paper is from Fancy Pants.

Here I used up the scraps.  Stamps are all from Stampin' Up

Love

Hello to everyone!

A couple of days ago I had friends over to stamp.  I made this with items from my scrap pile and extra pieces left over or colored and never used.  The flower and leaves are from The Crafts Meow.  The sentiment stamp is from ? .  Added a punched border and some seam binding and adhesive rhinestones.  The flower is colored with Copic markers.

Here I used the same flower and leaves.  Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.  I used a Spellbinders die.  Background paper is from Stampin' Up.

You're Amazing

Hope everyone is doing well!

This fun little card was made with my new stamps and dies from Stampin' Up.  The background paper is from My Minds Eye.  I really love this new set.

This one really turned out different, with a soft, subtle look.  I used gray ink instead of black.  The heart lace on the border is one of my faves.

Hey everyone!

I made this "tie dye" card by sponging on ink, painting on water to white cardstock.   Stamps are from Papertrey Ink.  Check out the ideas on their blog.

Here is another example with the same technique.  The heart stamps are from Stampin' Up.

And a third example.  Stamps from Papertrey Ink, border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Hello.  How are you?

Another card made with Copic Markers and hand sanitizer to make the background.  Stamps are fro Papertrey Ink.  Check out the Stamp-a-faire posts and videos for more ideas.

Same technique is used here to make the focal image.  Stamps are from Papertrey Ink.

Have a great evening.  Off to the pool for me....from Martha

More Copic tie die for Stamp-a-faire

Hi everyone!

Here is my next example for Stamp-a-faire.  Sorry about the multiple posts, but I want to post these before tomorrow, as there will be prizes!

Again, I made colored circles with Copics, painted on hand sanitizer (yup), then made my card.  The words and heart are from the little set from Papertrey Ink with the telephone.

Copic Tie Die--Papertrey Ink Stamp-a-faire

Time for another Stamp-a-faire post.  Unfortunately, I did not make the time cutoff for the first post.  bummer.

This technique was really fun.  I colored concentric circles with Copic markers just like Nichole did in her video.  I did not have any rubbing alcohol, so I had to get creative.  I used hand sanitizer to paint on the faded areas!  Next I punched them out with the frilly flowers die.  I really like this one and may have to do more of this (even though I made multiple cards like this yesterday!)

Have a great and cool day.  from Martha

PTI Stamp-a-faire

Good morning everyone!

Get ready for a bunch of Stamp-a-faire posts as I worked on the projects all day yesterday.  This one was the introductory am project.  I made mine pretty much like Nichole's except I used the Daydreamer stamp set.  The vellum strip turned out awesome.

Off to figure out how to link up to the Stamp-a-faire post.  Oh yeah, if you don't know what Stamp-a-faire is--it is a stamping summer camp on line this weekend with Papertrey Ink.  I highly recommend.

You Are Lovely

Hello out there!

I love love love this stamp and die set.  I think it is from Hero Arts but I am not sure.  I colored the image with Copics, mounted it on a panel die cut with Spellbinders.  I used little "raindrop" stickers on the edges.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamps.  The woodgrain background paper is from Stampin' Up.  Another creation from my scrap pile.

Have a great day!  from Martha.

Butterflies

Yes, I am still on the Taylored Expressions kit from last month.  Idea for this card came from the TE design team blogs.  The butterfly die is from Stampin' Up.

Here I used the same butterflies, different colored papers from Echo Park, and a punched flower (Martha Stewart).  Also a hunk of washi tape.

Live, Love, Laugh

Hello to all!

Another card inspired by the design team at Taylored Expressions.  The tree die is from MFT.  The orange frame was made with a Spellbinders die.

I really had fun with this card.  Colored the flowers with Copics.  Greeting is from Papertrey Ink and flowers from Taylored Expressions.  The grass die is from MFT.  I sponged on Tim Holtz ink to make the sky.

Have a gread day.  from Martha

Papertrey Ink MIM Roll the Die Challenge--

You have to try this!

This is my creation for the Make It Monday Challenge at Papertrey Ink.  My random selections were:

--horizontal card format
--layout number 3
--Farm Fresh stamp set
--rainbow background set for filler
--stone, melon and leaf green color combo
--decorative tape for my embellishment.

That all seemed too weird, but I worked with it and actually love the card I made.  Seriously, try it!

Happy Birthday

Hello blog people!

Another card made with my Taylored Expressions kit.  Original idea was seen at the TE design team posts for last months kit.  I'm not sure exactly which blog this came from....  Again, I like the machine stitching.  I switched up some embellies so my card is slightly different.  These papers were really fun, I think from Echo Park.

And another one.  Found idea on www.sunnysankari.blogspot.com.  I used the flower stamps from the set rather than the pinwheels.  I like the way it turned out.

Have Fun

Hello to everyone!

Another card in my Taylored Expressions project.  My grass die is from MFT and I used Spellbinders dies also.  I just kind of trimmed the white oval with a pinking shears.  The original design was found on this blog:  www.scrapmyheartout.blogspot.com by Debbie Carrier.

This would be my other card.  Can't remember the manufacturer on the stickers.  This little bird was fun to paper piece.

Lifted

Hi everyone!

I undertook a mission to make a whole bunch of cards lifted from the design team at Taylored Expressions.  I used my monthly kit from June and the stamp set they had on special last month.

This first card was made from a design noted on www.canyousayaddictedtostamps.blogspot.com.  I changed up some of the colors and embellies.  I really like the sewing on the edges of the components.

Part of my plan was to make two of each component, save them up after each card, then at the end make more cards with the leftover components.  I made lots of fun things, so you will be seeing the resulting cards over the next few days.

Here is another card I made with leftovers.  Just kind of minimal changes, but I also like this one.

Have a great day.  from Martha

Hello to all!

I've been doing a fair amount of stamping lately.  This card is made with my new Stampin' Up set and coordinating dies.  I chalked the elephant and added some green Stickles to his had.  The flower brads are from Grace's stash.  Background paper is from Jillibean Soup.

This set was kind of a must have for me because I collect elephant stamps.  I really had fun with it and it is quite versatile.

This card achieved an entirely different look using the same set.  Background paper is from Basic Grey.  Corduroy brads are from Stampin' Up.  Doilies and plaid flowers finish it off.

Have a great day!  from Martha
Hello everyone!

Today's post was made with a new Stampin' Up set called Betsy's blossoms.  The sentiment is also from Stampin' Up.  I punched ou the flowers and use Basic Gray paper for the background.  Scallop border and twine finished it off.

For this card I used the same Stampin' Up greeting with pink ink.  The dies are from Spellbinders.  The ribbon and cardstock are from stampin' Up.  Not sure on the background paper.  The dark pink piece is a strange stretchy thing from Grace's stamp room.

Have a great evening.  from Martha

Another set of flowers

Hello to everyone!

It is true, more flowers.  Flower image is from JustRite Stampers.  Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.  Added strips of scrap paper, some yellow crocheted lace, a yellow strip punched with a scalloped border punch and pearls.  The background paper is from Papertrey Ink.  I really like the soft color of this paper when I want to stamp directly onto the background paper.

This card has a big hunk of crocheted stuff that I didn't think I would ever use, but it seems to go ok on this card.

Here I punched a scallop circle with Spellbinders, used an interesting piece of background paper with tags printed on it, and added a tag sticker from the dollar store.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up.  Tied on a little twine and done.

Birds

Hello everyone!

This card was super easy and fun.  I used little bird stickers from Sticko.  Sentiment from Savvy Stamps.  Background paper I think is from DCWV.  Yellow paper is from Papertrey Ink.

I had a great time with these stickers.  Background paper with trees on it made the focal point.  I added a punched scallop square made with Spellbinders.  Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Summer flowers........

Hello to all!

For this card, the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink, the flower stamp from JustRite Stampers.  The dimensional stickers in the corners are from Sticko.

This example uses background papers from                   .  Stamps are from JustRite.  Alphabet stickers are from making Memories and little bird sticker is from Sticko.

I really had lots of fun with this stamp set.  from Martha

Even more flowers.......

Hello to everyone!

I am still on these flowers.  Todays images from JustRite Stampers were colored in bright yellow and blue.  I attached some paper scraps and a piece of ribbon and some small black embellishments.  The word stams and alphabet stamps are from Stampin' Up.

Same blue and yellow colors here.  The decorative circle stamp came in the same JustRite set as the flowers.  I also used that same embroidered pretty cotton stuff from Grace's stamping room.  I punched out a vellum flower to tuck behind the image on the right side.

Have a good one.  from Martha

More Flowers

Happy Fourth of July to everyone!

Yes, I warned you there would be lots of posts with this flower set from JustRite Stampers.  It colored up so nicely and fit right into the circle punch.  The little bee is from Stampin' Up.  The pretty cotton flowered embroidered stuff is from Grace's stamp room.

This card uses the same image, twine and alphabet stickers.

Soft subtle flowers

Hello to everyone!

A couple of weeks ago I broke out this JustRite Stampers set and stamped and colored a whole bunch of images.  I coordinated the colors with a package of bird stickers I had laying around.  I ended up with this color palette and a bright color palette.  I made lots of the images so you will be seeing quite a few with this stamp over the next couple of days.

In this first example, I used alphabet stickers for the sentiment.  Background papers were scraps.

For this example I used the same image, added a spellbinders scallop circle for a frame and a fence cutout made with a die from MFT.  The sentiment stamp is from Stampin' Up.  I really like this fence die--another awesome thing from Grace's stamping room.

The sentiment for this one is from Papertrey Ink.

Have a great day.  Off to play with my new fourth of july papers.

Hello everyone!

I used my Papertrey Ink stamps and Spellbinders dies to make this card.  Its difficult to see in the photo but the background paper is shiny and sparkly (from DCWV).  I inked the edges of the panel with coordinating ink.  I also spritzed the seam binding with coordinating glimmer mist.  I really like the way the ribbon turned out.

Second ex.mple today used the same stamps, a My Favorite things fence die.

Group projects

Hello to all!  Today I am posting the projects we made at a monthly stamping group I belong to.  Sandy Carlson is the Stampin' Up Demo running the group, and all the designs were from her.  She does such an awesome job.  This example was made with a new set and the new awesome ink pads.  They stamped so clearly and evenly on the solid stamps.

This one is a spinner card.  It was our technique card for the month.  Sandy is teaching us a new technique every month......

Have a great day!  from Martha
